first trip to kidspace!

Ewan got his Christmas present from Nonna a little early this year...a pass to the kidspace museum in Pasadena. It is such a great childrens museum and Ewan LOVES it! There is so much for him to play with and he can just run wild all over the place. We went with our playgroup so these are his friends...Aidan and Kaylin (who has a crush on him) Here are some pictures of him having a ball! You might notice he changes shirts 3 times...that's because if I can pry him away from the tricycles for a minute, he especially likes all the activities that have water!

Here are some of Lucas wide awake in his bassinett and Ewan playing with his pudding...he is having a grand time fingerpainting in his highchair! Lucas had his 2 month appointment and is growing very well! Already almost 13 lbs...he is in the 75th percentile for his age. He is a big boy!

trick or treat!

Here is the little monkey! And the little pumpkin! Even Jack got dressed up as super dog! Ewan had a really fun halloween this year! He loved trick or treating and jumping around like a little monkey and his new favorite word is "treat", but he had even more fun afterward when we passed out candy to all of the trick or treaters who came to the door!



Here we are before we go out and get candy! The boys are having a little pre-trick or treat party with one of PapaDoll's brewski's! Pete dressed up for school as Tom from myspace, since all of his kids in the class tell him that is who he looks like...they loved it! Look how cute our little pumpkin is! He had a nice nap through the whole thing.



Here are our pumpkins... we are really proud of them! Our pumpkin is the pirate ship, which Anna and Ewan carved. Auntie Steph carved the window with the cat, pumpkin and spider, and Uncle Adam carved the headless horseman!




Here we are going trick or treating with Auntie Steph and Uncle Adam! Everyone loved the little monkey and he really loved trick or treating...he kept saying, "more, more" after each house! He tried to say trick or treat, but mostly it was just "treat!"

Pumpkin Palooza!

Here we are at the Pumpkin Palooza at Descanso Gardens. It was so much fun, Ewan got to ride on a train and sit on a whole bunch of vintage tractors and pretend to drive. He had a grand time as you can tell! We even got to go on a hayride, which happened to be the very last one, as the tractor that was pulling us broke down halfway through, but it was still very fun and Ewan got to play in the hay, which he loved. Pete carried Lucas in the bjorn and he slept through the whole thing. Ewan loved the pumpkin palooza since it had 3 of his favorite things...trains, tractors and pumpkins, and he talked about them all day!

Here we are carving our halloween pumpkin. Ewan wanted a happy face pumpkin. He learned a new word that the he really liked...slimy. He kept picking up the seeds and calling them slimy. All in all our pumpkin turned out great!

Ewan loves to play in all of the toys and stuff we use for Lucas! Here he is playing in the bassinett, and then for a quick ride on his fire truck, which he also loves! Any siren we hear is a fire truck, which happens alot since we live right down the street from a fire station!



Here is a picture of our double stroller...it is actually a sit and stand stroller, so Ewan's seat comes off and he can stand up, since he hates being confined in anything these days. And a picture of Lucas all snuggled up in Anna's wrap. He loves to be carried in the wrap whenever we go anywhere. He just curls up and goes right to sleep! Ewan loves to hold his baby brother and give him lots of hugs and kisses and always tells us if he is crying or asleep by saying "him crying" or "bubba night night". He also likes to help give him a bath!














Lucas loves to sit in his little bouncy seat that his Nonna got him because he is already so curious and wants to look around at everything...he is a little nosy parker! He has already been cooing and smiling for the last couple of weeks and we think he looks alot like Anna in his eyes. He is a very mellow baby and doesn't really cry alot, plus so far he is a much better sleeper than Ewan, which just goes to show that some babies sleep well through the night and some don't!
