superhero fun!

The boys love dressing up in their costumes and flying around the house (and couch) and sometimes jumping off the couch onto the bean bag below. Lucas is really excited that he can fit into the buzz lightyear suit finally...he watched Ewan wear it for months....now he throws up both hands and yells something like "infin and bo" which is of course "to infinity and beyond!" And Ewan of course is teaching Lucas all his flying moves as Superman!

our garden...(and a black eye)

I tried to get a picture of Ewan's first black eye...(it's a little hard to see in this picture, but it is definitely there)...but he told me that "boys don't like having pictures taken", so it was hard to get too close. He fell at this children's garden we were playing at and hit just the right spot and got a really big black eye that lasted almost a week.

Another fun thing we did during spring break was we planted our garden and we are really excited for it to grow. We planted tomatoes, basil, onions, zucchini, jalapeno peppers, cucumbers and bell peppers.....and a sunflower cave which is the circle in the background of the first picture of Ewan. So now we are just waiting till we can make fresh salsa and pesto!!! Ewan and Lucas both helped plant and go out with Pete every night to water the garden and the lemon tree.

Easter Fun!

Here are some pictures of us at Easter. I think we had at least 5 egg hunts at our house and then a really long never ending one at Nonna's house(in which we kept sneaking eggs out of the baskets and re-hiding them) Both boys loved finding the eggs and kept wanting us to hide them over and over. After awhile all the treats were being eaten so they would shake the egg when they found it and if it had treats, they would put it in the basket and if it was empty, they would just throw it. Treats are the most important part after all! Oh and here is the belly at 23 weeks!

gymnastics!!

Here are the boys at gymnastics! This is like heaven for them to run and jump off of everything and it is all padded. And the instructor is constantly commenting on how much they run and how fast they are.....which is true...they are both really fast! it is getting a little hard for me to keep up with them these days. Also, neither one of them has much fear...Ewan builds up huge towers to jump off of into the pit(the foam blocks) and Lucas jumps off right after him. The bad thing is they think its a great idea to try and do this at home.....i don't have any gray hair yet but i feel like i should.

fun at the beach!

The boys LOVE the beach!! Love it and never want to leave. Ewan loves to play in the water....even in the winter and doesn't care if he is shivering....he would stay out there the whole time and hates getting out. Lucas doesn't like the cold, so as long as it is really warm he will go in, but otherwise he would just rather run around and dig. It is very hard to get a picture of Ewan standing still.....he is constantly running or jumping or moving. Good thing we don't live too far away...there will be many more beach trips to come!
