two years old!

Our little Lucas is now a two year old!! It is hard to believe that it has already been two years since our precious little boy was born and our lives have never been the same. He is the sweetest little boy whose smile lights up the whole room , he loves to sing and dance and adores his big brother "Mikey" and his little sister "Elliet". He loves to share everything he has with his mommy and daddy and if he ever gets a treat he always makes sure his brother has one too. And he is such a little ham always making us laugh!! He loved blowing out candles and got to have candles on all of his food during the day....but if he had candles he made sure we were singing Happy Birthday every time. I think we sung it 3 times before we actually ate his cake.....he kept saying, "again, again" after he blew out his candles. And he got in a couple more rounds of Happy Birthday before he went to bed.

He had a wonderful day starting with Mickey Mouse waffles and then presents and a tractor cake! Happy Birthday Lucas!

three weeks old!

it is hard to believe that our sweet baby girl is already 3 weeks old. she is already growing out of her little newborn suits and starting to like her baby gym and getting used to her brothers making lots of noise and jumping all around everywhere. so far she has been really calm and sleeping alot but when she is awake she is very alert and wanting to look around at everything. we have had a very crazy and chaotic and also fun and wonderful three weeks.....

here she is in her gym...with her brothers making sure to show her everything in it....they are such good brothers! ...her favorite is the ladybug so far.

...and of course it wouldn't be right to end the post without some pictures of the boys in their boots. this is first thing in the morning....but lucas has also gotten out of bed at night, put on his boots by himself and crawled back into his bed. They love their boots!! I hope they don't outgrow them too soon. I don't know what we will do!

rock and roll!!

So the boys went to their first rock and roll concert and it was pretty exciting!! They have these free concerts all summer long and one lucky wednesday just happened to be featuring none other than choo choo soul!!! The boys LOVE choo choo soul!!! It's like this hip hop kids music about trains and dancing and counting and all sorts of important things :) ...so the boys listen to them in the car and know all the words and when we used to have cable a long time ago, they would dance and go wild whenever choo choo soul would come on so needless to say they were excited!! Pete took them and Emmy and I stayed home which was good because he said it was really loud and all the kids were going wild dancing!! Here they are.....Genevieve and DC

They both had so much fun that they came home all wired up and singing and asked Pete if they could go back the next night to see them again and were really disappointed when he told them they wouldn't be there.....so sad.

the first week

Here are some pictures from the first week around here.....Emmerson is doing great!!! She already gained back all her birthweght and a little bit extra by 5 days old....she's not a fan of sleeping at night so far, and she loves her brothers, and as you can see, they adore her and want to hold her all the time!!

Lucas says "I'm big brother" and always wants to know where the baby is and what she is doing and loves to sing her a song before bed.....he is so sweet to her and it's really the cutest thing ever.

Ewan loves loves loves his baby sister. He is such a helper always checking on her and telling me what she is doing and also what she wants(or his ideas of what she wants). He loves to hold her and probably would all day if we let him. So we are having a great time.....a bit chaotic at times, but after all its only been a little over a week!

Emmerson Elliet
